Oh, Kevin, what would I do without him?! He is my rock, my best friend, and my “ride-or-die.” We laugh together, we cry together, and we have so much fun even doing the hard things – because we are together. I am so grateful that 26 years ago I went to visit an old friend on his birthday, which started out this amzing and wild ride together.

Since all of the rest of us were super busy on his birthday (work, mission, and school things), he had his own celebration. He started the day with playing a round of golf at TPC San Antonio. (And because he loves me, he even sent me pictures.)

After that, he hung out in the spa to get in some relaxation.

And since I had Meet the Teacher night, Arthur was volunteering at the middle school at Pup camp, and Derek had service assignments and Institute class, Kevin got together with some of his friends and went out to dinner and for milkshakes.

I am so glad he had a fabulous day, in spite of all of us having to neglect him.

We ended up celebrating Kevin on Friday instead, complete with his favorite Costco cake.

We also went out to dinner and gave him some gifts, but I may have been so exhausted from prepping my classroom and all the crazy meetings/trainings I had for the past week and a half, that I may have forgotten to take pictures of anything other than the cake. Oops. I am so glad that Kevin still had a fantastic birthday. He definitely deserved all the good things.
