Maybe it is because we went out of town, but I can’t believe that June is over!  Right before we left town, Arthur had his last swim meet, and he did super well.

He ended up getting sixth place in freestyle and 3rd place in his 100m IM (Individual Medley).  We are so proud of him and how far he has come tis swim season.

When we got back from our trip, all of the Crepe Myrtles in town are blooming, including my own 😍.  They make all of San Antonio just shine with color this time of year.

Over the past month, I have been reading a lot more because I can 😉.  My three favorites lately were just delightful, Mrs. Quinn’s Rise to Fame by Olivia Ford, Eddie Winston is Looking for Love by Maryanne Cronin, and Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. I love reading, but I especially love finding great book – ones that charm you, make you laugh, make you cry, and make you feel all the things.

The other other day, we had the missionaries over for dinner, and Elder Degroot – a giant golf enthusiast, was so excited to try out Kevin’s golf simulator.  Both of the elders had a blast hitting for a little bit before they had another appointment, and they made plans to come back on P-Day.

On Saturday, Kevin and Arthur took a trip up to Dallas for a fun adventure. They left early and made it to the Dallas Temple for them to do baptisms.  This was Arthur’s third new temple over the summer, and it the fifth temple he been able to attend.  So cool!

After the temple, the two them headed to LIV Dallas at the Maridoe Golf Club for some fun!

They got to see so many amazing golfers! Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, and John Rahm.  Between last week’s Traveler’s Tournament, and this week’s LIV tournament, Arthur has seen all the top golfers in world play.  Pretty awesome.

The golfers at LIV were way more awesome at acknowledging the fans, and Arthur got high fives from some of the best ones! Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed both gave him high fives.

But one of the coolest things, was when Phil Mickelson was about to walk by, and Arthur yelled out, “Hey Phil!” and Phil walked right over to him and high fived him.  So cool!!

It was a very hot day, and even though they brought portable neck fans, Arthur’s favorite place was to stand in front this giant misting fan.  Nice!

In the fan zone of the course, there were lots of fun super – there were totally goats for them to pet and take pictures with at the Rangegoats area.  Nice!

And the Hyflyers area totally had a mechanical bull!!  Arthur even got to try it out and loved it.

They also had an area were you could get a bag tag engraved, which was super cool!  Kevin loved it!

After a very full and fun day, they headed back the four hours to San Antonio.  They stopped at the super delicious Czech bakery on their way back and they brought back treats.

On the last day of June, the missionaries came back for their P-day and Kevin had a blast with them.  They played a course and did fun competition.  Definitely a fun way to end the month of June.
