When we first started planning our trip to New England, one of Kevin’s major draws was that he add six more states to his goal of playing in all 50 states. He planned, he planned, and planned some more, and when some golf course tried to thwart his plans, he regrouped. And the best thing ever was when he finally convinced his friend Kevin to join him.
And so it was, three days, 36 holes a day, six different states, and an enormous amount of fun. Kevin and Kevin had the best time wearing themselves out on golf courses all over New England (while Arthur and I were having a blast touring other things).
They played two courses a day, beginning on Thursday by playing:
Country View GC, Harrisville, Rhode Island (where Amy joined them for a round)

On Thursday afternoon, the boys played: William J. Devine GC, Dorchester, Massachusetts

On Friday morning, the Kevins started out by playing: The Links at Outlook, South Berwick, Maine

This is where Kevin had back to back eagles to shoot a 79. (LIttle Kevin was not happy with my Kevin.)

On Friday afternoon, they played: Windham CC, Windham, New Hampshire

I guess New Hampshire is known for being very rocky, but these rocks are insane!

On their final day of golfing, they started off playing: Mount Snow GC, West Dover, Vermont

That afternoon they finished things off by playing: Keney Park Golf Course, Hartford, Connecticut

And now Kevin is even closer to his goal of playing golf in all 50 states.
