Twice a year, we get the wonderful priveledge of listening to our prophet and apostles speak to us during General Conference.  It is a wonderful two days of being spiritually filled, and trying to get the kids to listen to some of it :).  This year, before it began on Saturday, we got into the mood by cleaning the church.  There is nothing that will make you appreciate our beautiful church more, than getting to clean it.

Derek made his "Reverence Tent" to sit in while he watched.  He did such a great job, all by himself, and yet we didn't anticipate that King Kong, aka: Arthur, would continuously knock it down.  It was so sad and so funny, all at the same time.

On Sunday morning, Derek and Kevin made us all cinnamon rolls.  They were so yummy!!!

And because it is easier for me to listen to things if I am doing something with my hands, I worked on my ornament for this year's ornament exchange.  I got a lot of work done on them, and finally figured out exactly what I am going to do for the design.

When the last session was over on Sunday, I took the kids for a walk, because they were a little stir crazy after sitting for so long.  We happened to pass this nice little grassy hill, and I realized that my kids had never rolled down a hill.  It was such a big part of my childhood, I had to have them do it.  They had a blast!

And it was so much fun, I had to video it :).

And to top things off, we had Family Home Evening and got our pumpkins put together on our front porch.  It was a great way to end such a wonderful weekend :).
