We had such a wonderful weekend, because not only was Kevin's mom with us, but his dad was able to come for a couple days as well. While he was here, we took full advantage and filled the weekend with fun. We celebrated :).
Celebrating Grandpa Dennis!
Kevin's dad was so happy to get to join us and play with the baby. He took full advantage of getting to hold Arthur as much as possible.
He also had lots of fun with Kevin. I love that they have matching computers :).
And Lily and Derek loved having Grandpa in town to play with and read to them.
Since his birthday is next week, we decided to celebrate with him while he was here. Kevin ordered a special donut cake from the local donut shop for the birthday cake. It was complete with maple frosting, Dennis' favorite. It was awesome, and so yummy!
Since Kevin's dad was in town for the Super Bowl, they decided to have a party (even though they didn't care about either team). They loved getting all sorts of party food, and especially watching the game on Kevin's new 55 inch TV.
Arthur wasn't all that impressed with the game, and was especially lucky to sleep through the half time show and power outage.
He woke up in time to get his pajamas on and watch the end of the game with grandpa. He still wasn't all that impressed with the game though, but it made it more fun for Grandpa :).
Because we had family in town, we decided to have Arthur's blessing while they were here. He was still pretty small (only two weeks old), but it was perfect.
My friend, Heather Rogers, made his blessing outfit as a gift, and I love how it turned out. So cute and simple. Before we left for church, we made sure to take a few pictures with the family.
And of course, we had to get one of Arthur with his big brother and big sister. I sure love my sweet kids!!
And I had Kevin take a few pictures of me and my baby boy. I sure love this sweet little guy!
And of course, we had to get some pictures of Kevin and his little Chewie.
The blessing was wonderful, and I am so grateful that my husband has the priesthood and is able to bless our children. It was the perfect part of a wonderful weekend.
