Earlier this week, I took Derek out to get his 4 yr old portraits.  He was so cute about it, and I even let him pick his outfit for the pictures.  We took advantage of an afternoon where it was up to about 50 degrees, so he didn't freeze, although he complained that he was freezing the whole time.  It is a good thing we did it all in about ten minutes :).

There is this great old farm on the side of the road, that looks almost as if it has been abandoned (a lot of things in NC look like they have been abandoned).  We pulled over, hopped out, and I followed him around, only directing him a little.  Mainly I just wanted to capture the personality of my little guy.  Here are a few of my favorites, but I have more on my photography blog:
