After almost six years without having a full nights sleep, it finally happened. Not only did Derek not wake up at all, but Lily didn't even wake me up to take her to the bathroom. I woke up at 6 am and couldn't believe it. Dreams do come true :).
Oh, and in my newfound energy, I got all ambitious and signed Lily up for soccer in the fall and arranged for her to begin piano lessons starting a week from Saturday :). Fun stuff.
Yippeee for you!!! I know you have dreamed of this day! Just another sign that your kids are growing up (although I’m sure you would have taken this sign a few years ago!) I know Lily will love soccer and her piano lessons. Time for another form of craziness to add to your life! Fun stuff!
congrads! I didn’t have to wait nearly so long, but I do understand the joy of finally having a full night of sleep.
Lily is going to have so much fun. I also want to get my girls into piano, but I want to wait just a little bit longer. so many activities and so little time and money.

It’s about dang time those kids gave you a break! I hope it wasn’t a teaser. I will keep you in my prayers for good sleeping:) I have been going back and forth about sports and piano for Eliana. I am afraid of the commitment right now. Who is going to teach her piano?

Yay! I’m so happy for you! You deserve this so much after so many years of sleeplessness. Thanks for being so good about calling me lately – I’ve been awful at keeping in touch with people since I’ve been pregnant. So lame, I know! I just feel bad that I’m not calling people back like I should be.
