Kevin and his brother Scott were able to get together this weekend after 3 years of not seeing each other.  (We live in Georgia, they live in Oregon – you can't get much farther away.)  Scott was in the area for a conference about 5 hours away, so he stopped in Friday night, and left this morning.  His visit may have been short, but they had a great time.  Here are the highlights:

Playing Golf – of course!

A VERY QUICK tour of Savannah, and a quick stop to the Savannah Candy Kitchen, so Scott could try a praline.

Watching sports together and listening to it on the radio as we drove around.  (I gotta say that golf is not all that interesting on the radio, but then I think all sports are boring on the radio – he he!)

Dinner at Sticky Fingers – you gotta love those ribs!  Oh, and the corn muffins that tasted like cupcakes – so yummy!

And last, but not least, Guitar Hero!!

Lily and Derek also loved seeing/meeting their Uncle Scott.  Lily was so sad when she found out he was leaving this morning, that she climbed up on his lap and said, "Uncle Scott, I sure am going to miss you."  It was so cute!  But who wouldn't love an uncle that played with you and came bearing gifts (even if he hid the plastic bugs all over my kitchen and scared me to death with them)?

What a great visit, even if it was a quick one.  Now we just have to get those cousins together :).
