I know you are all anxiously awaiting my post about Kevin's Golf Adventure #2 (and #3, for that matter), but in the meantime I decided to let you know what the rest of us are up to :).

Photography Stuff

I finished up my last photography class for a while.  It was so great!!  My last assignment was a portrait of someone else, and it needed to explain who they are. I chose Kevin, and although I didn't have the time or security clearance I needed to take the picture I had in mind, he came up with a much better idea.  Here's what I turned in . . .

I liked how they showed his soldier side, as well as his daddy side :).

In other photography news, I took some baby portraits the other day and I just loved how they turned out!  Here is one of my favorites, but to check out the rest, go to my photography site.

Food

I have been having some food cravings lately.  (No, I am NOT pregnant!  When I am pregnant, I am too sick to have cravings.)  Earlier in the week it was baked ziti, and then a few days ago it was these delicious cake bites.  I sure do love food :).

Young Womens

We had the most fun and simple activity on Wednesday night.  First, I took all the girl's pictures and had them fill out "Get to Know Me" sheets for us to put in a binder and give to the bishop.  That way he can learn a little more about each of them. 

Then we played the best game ever, Consequences – taken my my days as a "Psycho Laurel" – very long story.  (Remember the fun Jill?)  If, you can't tell, I sure do love my new calling :).

Silly Kids

While Kevin has been off on his golf adventures, the kids and I have been playing.  From baking, to doing yoga or jumping on my tiny trampoline, to cleaning the house (Which sometimes can actually be fun, even if I'm not Mary Poppins), and even dancing around the room while we listened to our favorite songs, we have been having a good time.  It has been one of those times when I have really been trying to remember to PLAY with my kids, which is a lesson I forget all too often.

It has been a wonderful week, and as soon as I get the highlights from Kevin, I will give you the other side of the story :).  Until then, have a wonderful day!
