I feel so behind and a little like I have dropped out of existence this past week or two.  It has just been so busy.  I know, I know, somehow I am always crazy busy.  However, although much of it is my fault, sometimes it snowballs out of my control.  The past little while has been a little worse than usual, but at least it has all been really good things.  Dscn0012_4

Thursday night I had my book club, which turned out to be awesome.  We had it at Melissa's, and she lives in this amazing old townhouse on a square in Savannah.  (Check out her view.)  We went all over downtown, and even got to see a lot of key places from our book, including the Mercer House.  So much fun!

Friday night I took Lily on a special date to go see Cayman in a middle school production of "The Sound of Music."  She was so very excited, and Cayman did a fabulous job playing Raulf (the boy who sings, "Sixteen, Going on Seventeen").  The rest of the production had it's ups and downs, but it was very entertaining.  I thought it was especially funny that they added 5 extra Van Trapp children so more people could have a part :).

Collage_2Saturday, I had another Prom Photo Shoot.  It was so fun!  You'll have to check out some of my favorites that I put on my photography site.  I can't get over how my hobby is exploding into so much more.  thank goodness for such an amazing husband who completely supports me with it :).

And then there was Sunday and Monday, but that was all about that husband of mine, and it deserves it's very own post.

(This next weekend there is nothing going on, thank goodness!  I might actually have a second to breathe.)

Those houses are gorgeous! What a fun thing to be able to do. I love reading, and I always wonder what places inspire the writers.

I LOVE Savannah. My oldest daughter was born there… we were stationed at Fort Stewart. It is a facinating part of the country isn’t it. Downtown Savannah is the BEST!
