The other day Lily and Derek were playing with trains in their room.  Later, when I started helping them clean up, Lily stopped me with a cry, "That's my super hero!"  I looked closer, and sure enough, she had made herself a person with the train tracks!  Lily's imagination always amazes me.

And then, on Thursday we had her kindergarten orientation meeting.  Lily was so excited to see her new school.  They took all the kids off to do a project while they talked to the parents about registration. 

When Lily came back with her group, the teacher she had been with pulled me aside and said, that although Lily had a little trouble listening, she was impressed with how smart she was.  I guess Lily had taught the whole group about hibernation :).  I had to laugh – it was SO Lily.
