So, not even an hour after I wrote my last post, and I was on the floor writhing in pain.  I was very ill and up all night in incredible pain with some horrid stomach thing.  Needless to say, the rest of my plans for a relaxing Friday night didn’t pan out.  Saturday, Kevin took me to the doctor to rule out things like appendicitis, etc, and they sent me home with some drugs and put me on a diet of clear liquids for the rest of the day.

Thank goodness for my wonderful husband – he not only took care of me, but did everything for the kids since I was too weak to walk.  And we did finally end up watching the Nanny Diaries, just not in the situation I had pictured :).  I am recovering now, and hoping to be back to normal for tomorrow’s "Pig Out" Football party with our friends, the Cardiffs.

I hope you all have a fun weekend . . .  and Happy New Year to all!!

Oooh, I’m so sorry, Lisa! The stomach flu is the worst! I have been avoiding it like the plague this year, but it seems to be *everywhere*. I’m so neurotic when it comes to avoiding anyone with the flu! Anyways, I hope you are feeling better by now.
It sounds like you had a Merry Christmas! And I hope you have a wonderful 2008. Happy New Year!
    (how was the Nanny Diaries?)

Glad to hear you are recovering – sounds miserable! Scott and I had some weird stomach thing on Christmas, but it wasn’t accompanied by gut-wrenching pain.
