Img_6518 On Saturday we got together with our wonderful friends, Andrew and Jeren.  We have known them since we lived in California, but are finally going to have to say good bye.  (It is the part of military life that I can never get used to.)

We went over to their house for dinner, and we had an amazing time – especially Lily.  They had pumpkins to paint, cookies to decorate, and marshmallows to roast.  She was in heaven.

Derek was pretty happy too – loving every minute of chasing their dogs around their big back yard.  As for Kevin and I, we loved just getting to talk to these great friends, who we are going to miss so much when they leave Savannah.  Here's a look at all our fun . . .

I know what you mean about saying good bye. I grew up moving so often, but now that I have kids I just want to stay put forever. I made all my friends sign a pact saying they’ll never move so I’ll never have to make new friends.

I’m sorry you have to say goodbye to your friends 🙁 I know how tough that can be. It sounds like you had a great time with them though, and those are memories to treasure!

It is hard to say good-bye. The one consolation I have is that with the military I think we’ll probably run into good friends again 🙂

Lisa–I’m sorry that you have to say goodbye to such good friends! What I love about adult friendships is that they are so much stronger. It is good to know that your friendship will remain intact no matter where you are!
