Collage Derek wants to draw so badly!  He is always stealing our pens and a piece of random paper, and then he proceeds to go through the motions of attempting to draw.

Well, because he is much too young for markers, and he still likes to eat normal crayons, I decided to try and let him use the cool twistable crayons we got from Grandma Valerie.  I set him up with a big piece of freezer paper taped to the table, and let him have at it.  Well, you can see from the pictures about how long that lasted.  I tried.

Img_3929 Since he was done with the paper, Lily grabbed it and she had a blast, that is until Derek crawled up on her chair and decided to join her.  He he!  Isn't that what little brothers are for?  Hey, and maybe someday Derek will actually have the ability to sit still long enough to get to draw.

Everett and Abi are the same way. Abi could color for hours – literally. And Everett is finished in about 15 minutes. I think he endures for even that long, so he can have the privilege of throwing the crayons on the floor. 🙂

That looks like so much fun! I’m sure that he must of loved coloring. Lily is so pretty, too!

That’s so cute. And I have some of those twistable crayons! I have my students use them for correcting their papers! 🙂

So cute! My little boy loves to color too. Every now and then he gets wild — my personal favorite was when he decided to color our grout! Scrubbing it out was NOT fun. Thank heavens for Magic Erasers.

the twistable crayons are great . . . until the kids decide to twist them all the way out and snap the crayon in half. We have many of those!

What a cute boy! Ellie is about the same right now. She loves to color, but her attention only lasts for a couple of minutes. It’s still fun to see her creations though.
