Today, thanks to my AMAZING husband, I got to take 3 hours out of my day to enjoy some complete and utter relaxation.  You see, for Valentine’s Day, Kevin gave me a gift certificate for a "Mommy’s Day Out" spa day at the Vanilla Day Spa in downtown Savannah.  We had been waiting for a time when I could go, and today turned out to be perfect.

After some initial drama trying to find a place to park (The tourists have descended on Savannah!!), I entered the spa, which was a quiet little pocket of peace away from the chaos outside.  I got to have a facial, a pedicure, and an amazing massage.  In fact, the massage relaxed me so much, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to walk the 7 blocks back to my car, let alone be alert enough to drive.  Luckily I made it home unscathed.

It really was a much needed break from reality, and the perfect chance to detox and relieve some stress ๐Ÿ™‚ – and hey, my toes are looking pretty cute, if I do say so myself.  I feel like quite the spoiled girl.  Thank goodness for days like these . . .

Fun for you!! A couple years ago I received a simular gift from Dan- Had to try and not laugh all through my massage- He looked like a “Fabeo” what a be. (My friend went with me and we had talked all the way there, hoping that we would get a women to do our massage and when he came out, we just about cracked up laughing.} He really was kind of silly looking. And she got a little old lady that had to stand on a stool.
