Normally I like to have a theme to go with my posts, but these past few weeks have been a little crazier than usual, and so by the time I sit down to post, I have too much to fit into one nice category.  Oh well, so I guess you are getting another random post from the Browns :).

I neglected to mention another reason I have had for not posting sooner – the little lump that is sitting in my lap right now watching Backyardigans – Derek.  His molars are trying to break through, and he has a fever of 103.  In fact he hasn't slept at all in 3 nights, so we are holding on by a thread right now.  Hopefully he will get past this soon. 

This morning I went to our RS birthday party, and this was how I left the little man – definitely in good hands.  On a happier note, we got his referral for the ENT in the mail today, and hopefully some of the sleep problems will soon be addressed :).  Oh, and even though he hasn't been feeling well, it really doesn't seem to slow him down.  Here's what I caught him doing yesterday . . .

  Lily is Lily.  Funny and silly as ever.  Today she was telling me how she wanted to go on a honeymoon, and when I told her that is special trip for after you get married, she said she was going to marry her invisible friend.  Oh, and the name of her invisible friend is . . . "invisible friend" – pretty unique, I know ;).

Lily's most exciting thing this week was when she got to go swimming with her clothes on for swimming lessons.  They are trying to teach the kids that they can still swim, even if they aren't in a swim suit – pretty cool.  She is getting so much better, although it still looks a little more like drowning than swimming, but that's because 3 yr olds just move that way :).  And as always, she has been busy wrapping our missionaries around her little finger.  They always seem to fall in love with her . . . it's a good thing she is so little – he he!

Kevin is doing really well, aside from his toe, which has seriously damaged his ability to golf.  I doubt he'll be able to last the 4 weeks he is supposed to not do real physical activity – I mean, we are talking about the guy who played golf with a destroyed ACL and torn cartilage. 

And me, I am just trying to keep up with the rest of them.  I am a little loopy due to the lack of sleep, but it's all good.  Primary is good, the kids are good, and I finished the top of Lily's quilt.  What more can I ask for?  Oh, and I got to make a new friend, September.  She came over and I taught her and her son Camen to do stitchery :).  It was very fun, as I love stitchery, and I love to teach.  Plus, they were so much fun that we lost track of time and she was late picking her youngest son up from school.  Oops.

I'll leave you with a picture of the kids admiring our new neighbor :).  Actually we used to see him a lot last year, but he was gone for the winter.  I love lizards!  Anything that eats bugs is on my good list :).
