Now, I can't let all of you think that all the chaos and craziness in this house is caused by Derek, because Lily had her hand in it long before he born, and this week was proof. She has been doing so well lately – tantrums, but controlled tantrums – naughtiness, but not to excess – and a genuine desire to please. Somewhere in the past 2 weeks, she lost that . . . Oh well. Lily is back, as crazy as ever!
The worst was at her swimming lessons on Thursday. They have been going into the deep end to help the kids swim without their feet dragging on the bottom – forcing them to kick. Well, Lily is TERRIFIED of the deep end, and completely freaked out – throwing an uncontrollable tantrum, and forcing me to get help just to remove her from the building. Kevin and I discussed the whole thing with her later that day, and felt like we had gotten through to her, but she continues to walk around saying, "I'm only going in the shallow end." However, she has been praying for help to be brave. We'll see.
On Saturday we took her to Target to get a new swimsuit – hers were so worn out!
She was so cute in them, we ended up with two. My favorite thing was how she would dance around in them, since they all have little built in skirts.
So fun! (I thought February was a little early for swimsuit shopping, until I realized everyone else seemed to be there for that same purpose :). )

Lily has also discovered "playing with the neighbor kids" in the past little while. It is such a fun way for her to get to play and be with other little kids. The cutest was when all 3 little girls were running around outside with their toy strollers – each with a Carebear inside. It was pretty adorable. I sure love that silly little girl!!
