. . . to read bedtime stories to Lily?  The answer is simple, Derek.  He is getting to be more trouble than I can even keep up with, let alone handle :).  As I was reading to her tonight, he kept climbing on his bed, standing on the rail, and trying to pull the lamp off Lily's dresser.  I would hop up and run over to stop him, to which he would leap onto the bed – with a crazy Ninja roll, I might add – laughing hysterically.  What do you do?Img_3464

When I finally got that to stop after a few time-outs, he began emptying Lily's shelves.  So then, I pulled him onto her bed, hoping he would read with us, but all he kept doing was climbing over Lily trying to reach her alarm clock.  I just can't win.

Img_3466 Oh, and while I am posting, I thought I'd show you Lily's "special quilt," that her Grandma Valerie made for her.  She LOVES it, and has to use it ever night on her bed :).  She is a girl after her daddy's own heart.Img_3467

PS.  While I was typing this, Derek dumped out my church bag and emptied out my primary binder . . . really?

Ahh…the joys of a toddler! I wish Ellie and Derek could play together. They would make such a mess! G’ma Valerie is so talented! Ask her if she can make a quilt for Ellie 🙂 hehe!

I remember that stage. It seems like nothing stays were you intend it too. Good Luck.
