Derek's hair had been getting a little long – a little poofy around the ears and fuzzy everywhere else (old man hair), and so we knew it was time for a real haircut.  We had shaved his head a couple times with Kevin's beard and mustache trimmer, but we had never broken out the big guns – the clippers.

I wondered how he would react, and at first, he didn't seem to mind.  In fact, he seemed intrigued by the whole thing :). That all ended after about a minute or so of me holding his hands down, and Kevin holding his head still. 

After all was said and done, he looked pretty adorable with his new buzz, and now he's twins with dad.  How fun is that?
