Well, being that I am too much of a perfectionist at times, and that my friends were doing it for free, I decided to try another round of family pictures.  I loved so many things about the ones that Amber took, but wanted to see if we could get my children to cooperate this time.

Img_09511So, yesterday morning we tried again – this time with my friend Cindy, who Derek and Lily love so much, that we figured they couldn't help but smile for her :).  We also went to a new location, Forsythe Park, to see if that would help as well.

Img_08061They turned out great!  (They did make me miss my long hair a little bit though.)  And we caught both Lily and Derek smiling – rarely at the same time though – they weren't going to make it that easy for us – he he!

Once again, we had to reward ourselves afterward, and this time it was with gelato and fresh pecan pralines from the Savannah Candy Kitchen – YUM!!! Img_19641_1 Oh, and I let Kevin shave his head as his special thanks for making him go through the family picture thing twice in two weeks – he he!

Your family picture looks great! and I think that I have the same shirt as you — I picked mine up at a gap outlet a while back. Too funny.

I looked at the pictures when I got home, and there were a few pretty good ones. I still have lots to learn, but that just takes practice. Thanks for letting me practice on you.
I was pretty bummed that the one of you guys swinging Lily didn’t come out, it could have been the follow-up to the first one! We could always try again.:) (I am teasing)

I love the new pics, but I liked the first one’s too. I’m a perfectionist myself though, so I understand the need for continuing to try until you get it “just right.” I drive myself crazy with this trait, and my husband too 🙂
