Well, being that I am too much of a perfectionist at times, and that my friends were doing it for free, I decided to try another round of family pictures.  I loved so many things about the ones that Amber took, but wanted to see if we could get my children to cooperate this time. 

So, yesterday morning we tried again – this time with my friend Cindy, who Derek and Lily love so much, that we figured they couldn't help but smile for her :).  We also went to a new location, Forsythe Park, to see if that would help as well.

They turned out great!  (They did make me miss my long hair a little bit though.)  And we caught both Lily and Derek smiling – rarely at the same time though – they weren't going to make it that easy for us – he he! 

Once again, we had to reward ourselves afterward, and this time it was with gelato and fresh pecan pralines from the Savannah Candy Kitchen – YUM!!! Oh, and I let Kevin shave his head as his special thanks for making him go through the family picture thing twice in two weeks – he he!
