We had the most fun experience on Saturday afternoon!  Some good friends of ours  invited us to go out on their boat.  It was a very nice, pretty large boat – perfect for going out on the ocean.  Aside from seeing dolphins (a mama and her baby!!), and just the thrill of being out on the water with the wind in our hair, they also took us to an island with a great beach. 

It was so much fun, and Lily couldn't have been happier.  Because she had a great life jacket, she just floated around in the water like a fish – with Kevin nearby for protection, of course :). (Sadly I didn't get a picture of this, because I was on the shore at the time, with my camera safe in the boat.)  Derek was also great, but Derek is always great – he he!  He looked so cute in his little life jacket!  The only downside of the trip, was that we weren't thinking clearly when we got ready, and so we had to go swimming in our clothes.  Next time we will definitely bring our swim suits.
