Well, we are home from our vacation, and we had a wonderful time!  First we went to Orlando for a few days, where we stayed in an amazing Military Resort at Disney World, Shades of Green.  It had wonderful pools (one was even shaped like Mickey Mouse), and so our first order of business was to go swimming!!  The weather was gorgeous!!

Our next adventure, was a day at Sea World.  (This also meant that Kevin and I had visited all 3 Sea World Resorts in the 5 years we have been married 🙂 – Fun!)  We loved it, and Lily was so happy getting to watch the dolphins and whales.  She and I even got to pet a dolphin!

A day at Seaworld!

On our last day in Orlando, we went to the Orlando Temple.  Kevin watched the kids while I did a session, and it was so wonderful!  A nice peaceful moment in the midst of our vacation.

Next we went to Southern Florida to visit my brother and his family.  It was Lily’s cousin, Preston’s, 3rd birthday, and so she got to go to his party.  My niece Mikeena was particularly taken with Derek, and was always wanting to help with him and hold him.  It was so great to spend time with them before they move back to Idaho.

Fun with Cousins!

Last, but definitely not least, was our day at the beach.  The weather was beautiful, the water was warm, and the sand was perfect for Lily to roll around in.  She even let Kevin take her way out in the water swimming.  And Derek got his first dip in the ocean – although he didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as we all did.

A Day at Deerfield Beach

All in all, we had an amazing vacation.  The drive was long, but the kids were great.  As we pulled up to our apartment, Lily said, “I don’t want to leave our vacation.”  But it’s all good, because as great as it was, it is nice to be back to our normal life.
