I have to say that I am a little obsessed with the turtles that live in our pond.  There are about 13 of them that I have counted, and they are quick little buggers.  Since we moved here six months ago, I have been trying to help Lily get a good look at them, but they slip into the water before we can ever get close enough.  Well, last week Kevin got me my new toy – my Canon Digital Rebel XT – and so I popped on my telephoto lense, and went out to catch those turtles.  I finally got a great picture of them, and even got a picture of the Great Blue Heron who likes to hunt them.  It was all very exciting – to me at least.  As I said, I am a little obsessed.
