There are times when I wonder if I will ever be able to trust Lily to an activity by herself.  I was sitting on the couch feeding Derek,  in the same room, no less.  However, I couldn’t see her from where I was.  Kevin came home from work, and asked me if I knew what Lily was doing, and I answered that she was coloring.  Laughing to himself, he told me that I had better check it out.  There was Lily – shirtless, and purple.  I proceeded to ask her what she is allowed to color, expecting the answer I had drilled her with many times,  “paper.”  Being Lily, instead she answered, “Me.”  Oh well, she is Lily.  (Thank goodness for washable markers!!)

(PS.  As I was typing this, Derek rolled over for the first time!!  Yea!  We were worried that it might take a while with as huge as he is, but he’s pretty strong , so I guess that made up for it.  Lily still has the family record with rolling over at 5 weeks, but 3 1/2 months isn’t bad – he he!)
