I think that Heavenly Father gives us children to help us smile when nothing else would work.  Have you ever had one of those days – you know the type – where things just go wrong, or you just feel wrong.  I seem to be having a lot of those days lately, but it never fails to amaze me, how Lily and Derek can make me forget everything else.  Maybe it will be a smilefrom one of them, or maybe it will be something funny that Lily says or does, but whatever it is, it always makes me smile.

(This picture is an example of that very thing.  Lily wanted to cuddle with her brother on the couch, and kept saying, “Now we are safe.  Now we are warm and toasty.”  It definitely made me smile.)
